I bought Microsoft Windows Home Edition and Microsoft Office Mac 2008 in Germany for Macbook Pro. Unfortunately they were installed in German language. Is it possible to change it to English as i do not understand German at all. Thanks and appreciate for your immediate response.

The version you bought doesn't contain the resources necessary to
display the UI in English... You can't "switch" it unfortunately,''

There should be a way aroudn though. As far as I know, the serial
numbers are universals. You can use a US CD to install Office with
*your* serial number. (though now you need to borrow a US install CD
from someone :-\ )
