Could be a badger as in someone (or something) who badges - like a beader is
one who beads

I've seen quite a few badgers, some of which might be small enough to hang
from your lapel, albeit uncomfortably.

A new career! Badger farmer! And all of my badgers would have pretty beaded
collars. :)
