Laptop connection?

I have a Belkin router and am trying to wire it to a laptop. When I pull up
the network card on the laptop it says it's disabled but when I try to enable
it I get a message I don't have access to the Home computer? I have ran the
wizzard and made sure the network names are the same. Any ideas out there?
