large amount of data on the Clipboard message

I have been using OneNote 2007 for some time now without any real problems
but recently I have been getting the annoying message .... "You placed a
large amount of data on the Clipboard. Do you want this data to be available
to other programs after you quit OneNote? " when I close down.

I have changed nothing within or added to OneNote it has just decided to pop
this message up at close down. I dont have to copy much, just one word will
do so I cannot see where the problem may lie.

Any suggestions as to where I can look for a solution or even a solution
would help.

Regards ... Colin

Hi Colin,

there is probably an alternate content type that is also getting pasted to
the clipboard along with the text. If it were me, I would look around for a
clipboard viewer application and see what actually winds up on the clipboard
when I copy.

An indepth place to start is here:

Until you can find the source of the data getting put on the clipboard, the
only workaround would be to click "No" or use a utility to clear all
clipboard data.
