Large data set in XY scatter causes excel 07 to hang every time

I have a dedicated chart page with two large(10K points/ea) data sets. Excel
97-03 allows me to edit the series, make scale changes, etc. Excel 07
crashes every time I open the document.
Anyone dealt with a similar issue? How do I roll back to office 03...I
don't want to deal with this crap, I just want the program to allow me to get
my job done.

Does the file contain any macros? If so, use Rob Bovey's code cleaner
available at http://www.appspro.com/Utilities/CodeCleaner.htm

Do the cleaning in Excel 2003 obviously.
