Pixie-Dust in Niagara,
1. With Outlook closed. Disconnect PC from modem or router.
2. Restart Outlook> You will get a warning that you are not connected to the
Internet, Select NO, so the internet connection will not be started.
3. Open up your Outbox folder and delete the offending messages, also you
might want to move any other messages that have been trapped behind this
message back in the Drafts folder. So the Outbox folder is empty.
4. Close Outlook.
5. Reconnect to the Internet through your modem or router. You might
consider rebooting PC, too. Check that you have an Internet connection.
6. Open Outlook, and see it Sends/Receives messages. If everything works.
7. Open Drafts folder and click open a message one at a time and see if they
are sent.

Large Outgoing email stuck in Outbox
I have a large (15MB) file stuck in my outbox. Is there anyway to delete it?
I tried to right click and delete, but nothing happens.
I am using Vista Home Premium and Outlook 2007.
Re: Large Outgoing email stuck in Outbox
Posted here every day: click File and check Work Offline. Stop and restart
Outlook. Delete the message. Click File and uncheck Work Offline.

So how are we (the readers of your posts) to know that Pixie-Dust is
the original poster, Randy, that asked the question ... versus some
other user trying to hijack someone else's thread? If you want to be
recognized as the same person then use the SAME moniker.
Retry Brian's procedure except replace "Stop and restart Outlook" with
"Stop Outlook. Start Outlook in its safe mode ("outlook.exe /safe")".
Maybe you have a plug-in installed that is causing the problem.
