Large-scale printing, multiple slides

Kevin

I'm curious if anyone has done some large-scale printing from PowerPoint?
If one wanted to create a large format printout of 3-4 slides per row (almost like the slide sorter view) all on one large sheet, with a heading at the top (then mounted on foam-board).

I found some instructions for printing one slide at a time in large-scale, but I wasn't sure about a larger number of slides all on one sheet.

Any resources?

Kevin,

create a new slide in your existing presentation
view your slides on the slide sorter......
select one slide.....edit > copy
go to new slide > edit paste > re-size to where you want it
repeat with other 3 slides

then read
Print posters or other large format output

TAJ,

I'm afraid I don't understand what's going on with the first part of your
instructions. (Copying from the slide sorter... and pasting where?) Copying
and pasting from the slide sorter seems to just create a duplicate copy of a
slide.

Kevin,

Copying
and pasting from the slide sorter seems to just create a duplicate copy of
a
slide.

What I was suggesting was to create 1 new slide (think of this 1 new slide
as how you want your large format printout to look). Assemble everything you
want on your printout on this 1 new slide. Then print this 1 new slide on
your large format printer. Job Done!

By copying slides from the slide sorter, you get the 'whole slide', on your
new slide, so you can re-size it as a group. You can also add any titles, or
descriptions underneath each slide if you so need.

TAJ,

I'm starting to understand, but when I copy from the slide sorter and paste
onto a new slide it simply creates an entirely new copy of the slide (not a
miniature version of the slide). (PowerPoint 2003) Do I need to take a
screen capture of the slide, then paste into the new blank slide?

Sorry for all the questions!

Kevin,

Sounds like you are pasting while still in the "slide sorter" view/mode

After you edit > copy
you need to switch to
view > normal (slide mode) (the big slide view)
then edit > paste
Do I need to take a
screen capture of the slide, then paste into the new blank slide?
No, that's not what I'm suggesting...as you will lose the quality
