large single letters

i would like to print out single letters about 1 1/2
inches to 2 inches tall. i want to make a stencil to lay
out on blocks of wood. thanks
i tried but the largest i get is setting 72 and they come
out about 3/4" tall

Craig,

Rather than selecting 72 from the drop down, just type a larger number in
the window. Like 200.

Word can print fonts from 1 point to 1,638 points in half-point increments.
To get a size that is not listed, type it into the box and press Enter. Note
that 72 points = 1".

Hi Craig. In your menu bar, where you select the drop
down for your font size...you can type in any number that
you want. You don't have to use the defaults that Word
provides. Try typing in 115 in the font size box. That's
probably close to the size you need.

Rather than going to the pull down menu that lists the
font sizes (or point sizes) which stops at 72 points, just
type over number displayed i.e. 200 and hit enter or
return. You should be able to generate a 3 inch high
letter or even larger.
