Large square mouse pointer when using ink pen in onenote 2003

Hello,

Could anyone help me change the mouse pointer appearance in onenote 2003
when using the ink function on any page? Originally the pointer looked like a
felt tip pen but later it changed to quite a large square with a black top
and a small square within it - I find this too large to see what I am
drawing but I have not been able to change it back from this.

Are you accidentally using an eraser? On the "Drawing and Writing Tools"
toolbar, ensure that you have one of the pens selected.

Otherwise, what happens when you try to change the pointer scheme in
Control Panel | Mouse? Are there any other misbehaving cursors? Does
thisonly happen in OneNote? What about if you use the Tablet Pen in other
applications?
