I have written a document with the standard letter size (8.5" x 11") selected
with a landscape orientation. I have chosen to view the document in print
layout. The ruler along the top indicates the document page is actually
longer than what I have selected and I am not sure why this is happening.
When I actually print the document, the footer is skewed and appears longer
than what is actually is and it appears as if the document is scaled to fit
the page. When I check the settings, the footer is normal and the document
is not scaled to fit. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

If the document contains "markup" (tracked changes or comments), Word will
scale it down to allow margin space for the "balloons."
