Last modified date won't change

The date will never change - it is hard coded into the bottom border.
All pages using this border will show the same date:

From _borders/bottom.htm:

<h5 align="left">Copyright C 2006 Bougainvillea House, All Rights
Reserved - Last modified: 09/22/06</h5>

Thank you Ronx.

How do I change that? DOn't I want the web to show new dates whenever I make
updates? On my version of the web in FP, prior to publishing, it shows
updated dates for each page. After I publish to the web, it still shows the
old date.

Open a page with the bottom border.
Highlight the date
Then Insert->Date and Time ...
Choose the option - "Date this page was last automatically updated"
Click OK

When publishing DO NOT OPTIMISE the HTML. The setting you are using
removes the webbot comments that control this feature (and perhaps other
features as well).
