"Last revision" not updated when publishing my WEB-site

When changing my WEB-site in the local Front Page editor, the date of last
revision is properly updated. But after publishing the the changed site, the
last revision date is still the same as before.

What's wrong?

Try clearing your browser History and temporary internet files.

Also, if you're viewing the site using AOL, AOL caches web pages on their
servers and it might take a day or two to show the change.

Recalculating Hyperlinks did not solve the problem.
However, I can give you more information. If I choose to insert a new Date &
Time object in my local editor (over the existing one) and then publish my
site(overwriting conflicting "overlay") the WEB site shows the correct
revision date. But it seems like I have to do this every time I update the
site.
