Hello - I am encountering a problem with master schedules (late finish date
calculation). I have an Intermediate Master Schedule in which I am inserting
into another Master Schedule (the IMS - or a master of a master). The latest
finish date for the IMS is 12/31/09 and the latest finish date for the
Intermediate Schedule is 9/3/09. Once inserting into the IMS, the late
finish date for the Intermediate Schedule should be 12/31/09. But the tool
is still giving it a 9/3/09 late finish date and is setting the total slack =
0 and making the network of tasks critical (late finish = early finish). I
have the calculation set to 'automatic' so I am not sure why the late finish
date is not re-calculating properly. I do not have any dealines or hard
constraints that is causing the total slack to equal 0. Can you help?
