I am working with Exchange on a Win 2003 SBS server. This came with Outlook
2003. I have Office 2002 on all the computers. I have upgraded to Outlook
2003 on a few computers and now have two problems.
1) When the user opens Outlook and goes to type a new message or reply to a
message, there is latency in seeing the typing appear. If you type, the words
do not appear until you stop or hesitate. This is very annoying to the users
who've been upgraded. Also, sometime later in the day, the latency may
disappear and the user can type and see the words immediately. Any chance
that this is a problem caused by Cached Exchange Mode?
2) On the Exchange server, I have three user ID's that have been hidden from
Exchange address lists. On any computer using Outlook 2002, these User ID's
are hidden and do not show up in either the Global Address list or the All
Users list. On any computer using Outlook 2003, these addresses show up in
the Global Address list, but not in the All Users list. I really would like
to keep these User ID's hidden from all users. Any suggestions?
Thank you!
