Latency Issues

There are severe latency issues when PM's are opening or saving their project
plans to the server. We are installing SP1 next week, but testing has not
proven to assist with this problem.

What have other companies done to expedite user access to their plans?

We are investigating implementing Citrix, but I wonder if their is another
solution.

Are you accessing the server over a WAN (ie client is physically a long way
from the server) ? If so, I think you are going to get very poor performance.

The MS documentation recommends using Terminal Server and running the
Project Client on a Terminal Server box located in the same building as the
Project Server installation.
