Latest Office Update has error in RSQ calculation

I updated my Office software today with an Oct dated software upgrade.
I've using excel this afternoon, and I noticed the the correclation
coefficients for all fo my regressions are now negative?? I went back
to a speadsheet that I created yesterday and the r-squared were fine.
However when I retyped in the rsq equation the number totally changed
and was now a negative number as well (ie yesterday r2 = 0.998; today
r2=-0.974). Has anyone else experienced something similar? Thanks.

This is very strange, and I can't replicate it.

What version of XL do you have? Choose the Excel/About Excel menu item.
The latest version is

Microsoft® Excel® for Mac
Version 11.3.7 (070724)

which indicates it hasn't been changed since July 2007. The only
application affected by the October (11.3.8) update was Word.

Can you give an example of your data that gives the wrong RSQ() result?
