Hello,
I have to open PPS slide shows from HTML pages. All my files are on the
local C drive. They are not on Internet. I have created an HTML page
containing an IFrame element and it works fine but 2 splash screens appear :
- the PowerPoint viewer splash screen
- a kind of "download" popup that appears a very short time
I successfully removed the splash screen by adding the /splash option on
the PPTVIEWER command line associated with .pps files.
But I don't know how to remove the other popup window. I don't get it if
I open directly the .pps file without IE, but that's not a solution for me.
Does anybody know how to prevent it from being displayed? It is an
Office Discovery Service feature? It looks like a "gather information"
or "download file" progress dialog.
