Launching Microsoft Outlook

I presently am using Windowes XP operating system with
Microsoft Office 97.

I cannot launch Microsoft Outlook. The display on the
screen is " The proceedure entry point
WNetEnumCachedPasswords could not be located in the
dynamic link library MPR.dll."

Can anyone suggest what I can do resolve this problem.
Please keep it as simple as possible.
