Launching Office 2003 applications resets display settings to low-

I have run into an unusual problem after upgrading my corporate notebook from
Office 2000 to Office 2003. Every time I launch an Office application, my
display settings reset to low-resolution. Anyone else running into this?

With Word closed, use Windows Explorer or My Computer to browse
to the WINWORD.EXE file on your hard drive. The default location
for this file is "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11",
but it may be different in your installation. Right-click on
WINWORD.EXE, and left-click on Properties | Compatibility |
uncheck the "Run in 256 colors" and "Run in 640x480 screen
resolution" boxes | OK.
