launching powerpoint program instead of the viewer

what changes tdo I need to make to launch the powerpoint program . curently
when I either launch a file or an attachment the viewer launches.

You need change the program which opens PowerPoint. Right click on any of your ppt/pps files in Windows Explorer and select properties and change the program that opens the file to Microsoft Office PowerPoint
