I've been having some difficulties with layering graphics. Basically, I want
to take a simple B&W clipart (a Yin-Yang, for example) and put it over a
solid color background so that the background color shows through the white
areas of the image. Making the B&W graphic transparent with ctrl-T doesn't
work, and there doesn't seem to be a way to recolor the white areas of the
graphic either (that I have found). I'm trying to create some "heraldic"
graphics, and I've hit this major problem...Thanks in advance for any help
you can offer !
