Layering in Word?

G

Greg Mathias

I am trying to find a way to insert layers into a Word
document. I tried text boxes, but it does not do what I
need it to do. I need to put multiple layers of text on
a document and have them all show up. When using a
textbox, the "box" covers the other text that I am also
trying to display. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

Greg,

text boxes can work for layering. If you want a text box
to behave as if it's transparant, right-click it and
Format Text Box, Colors and Lines, then select No Fill
from the Color pick list. This setting will enable you to
drag multiple boxes over one another in layers.
