Hello,
I'd like to be able to create a background flowchart shaded in grey, and
create multiple foreground flowcharts that highlight specific paths. The
catch here is that the background flowchart is quite complicated and
constantly changing so we want the foreground charts (positioning of boxes)
to change automatically with the background.
I hoped that layering would do this. I hoped that I could have as one layer
the "background" flowchart in grey, then in each separate layer, create the
highlighted paths with connectors and "snap" the foreground boxes to the grey
boxes on the "background" layer so that when we move a box in the background,
the foreground moves as well.
The help seems to communicate this is possible, but actually doing it seems
to have limitations that I can't quite figure out.
Is this at all possible? (Did I communicate what we're needing very well,
please let me know if you don't quite understand what I'm trying to do)
Thank you very much,
Erin
