layers

To understand what I am interested in, please go to the following page:

You will see a red area to the right of the page, which is made to look like
tabs. When clicking on the tabs, the content of the new tab shows up
immediately, without a page refresh. I loaded the page into FP and
discovered that the contents of all the tabs were then showing up all at
once, so that reading the text was impossible. It appears that this is some
sort of layering option where all layers are hidden, until a link is clicked
which instructs a particular layer to show. I think I have heard something
about layers in FP, but have been unable to locate a layer option in FP.
Does anyone know anything about this?
