When I upload a document like a resume to a website, the layout of the copy
gets all out of whack and I cannot get it to look like it does on the
original document. It also happens when I copy and paste it.

HTML and Word document have entirely different formatting requirements. For
example, HTML does not support page header/footers or even the pages
themselves. You can get an idea of what your document will look like by
viewing in Web view. However, this type of web site often requires plain
text, so paste into Notepad and make the adjustments there before
transferring to the web site.

You should be using a real webpage development program, such as Expression
Web.
