LCS 2005 - Messing with Outlook?

Scott

Is there a possibility that LCS2005 and/or Communicator 2005 could be
causing problems in outlook 2003 causing outlook to stop responding
frequently? We upgraded to LCS 2005 last week, since then I've had at least
1-2 users every day have problems with outlook where it just entirely stops
responding, wont go in in safe mode, then I uncheck using cached mode to
kill the local copy of the mailbox and try to go in with a direct connect to
the server and it still locks up. At that point after renaming and
unselecting to use cached mode I can reboot and get in with a direct connect
then exit and re-select cache mode and it temporarily resolves the problem -
I say temporary because I'm expecting these systems will probably have the
same problem again very soon (1 already has).

....?

Thanks!

We used LCS 2005 and LCS 2005 SP1 with Office and Communicator (and WM) and
I haven't ever had Outlook hold up or lock up. I do use cached mode against
an Exchange server and I use this from my home machine as well (which also
has communicator/WM). I'm not aware of scenarios that would specifically
cause this lock-up, but I'm a server-side developer and not a client-side
dev.

I thought there was a kb about it, but I could be mistaken or thinking of
another program.

What build of outlook do you have?
