LCS Can't connect across WAN

R

Robert

We just installed a Standard LCS server which is working great on it's local
subnet with Office Communicator. However, when trying to use OC in a remote
office connected via a T1 VPN with no firewall it fails with a message saying
"Communication Service is temporarily unavailable". I can use LCSPing to ping
the port on the server (5060 for TCP) and LCSDiag connects just fine to the
server. Furthermore after reviewing a packet capture I can see that LCS does
indeedd send an OK200 along with the XML list of groups and added users but
it appears OC brings this message up prior to it receiving the OK. I've read
along the way that the router MTU may be an issue. Ours is set to 1300. Can
anyone validate that or give me some ideas on what else to try? Also, we are
manually confiuring the LCS server in OC and using the same SIP URI that
works locally. Thanks.

PS, It works fine on our frame relay circuits as well.
