LDAP search

I have configured my Ldap server and Outlook to search it for a directoey of
email addresses.

the search string is dc=server,dc=server,dc=com and it returns all the users
in the directory.

There are some though that do don have actual email addresses. I want to
filter them out. I can do it on the directory admin tool by specifying not
to include those mail users with a ? in the mail field

(!mail=*?*)) is the syntax generated by this utility. I know very little
about how this works and was hoping someone could give me the correct code
to exclude these items from the outlook search.
