I have a database that runs on a server. The ldb file remains open even when
everyone is logged out. Can someone explain?

The server still thinks that the lock is good so you will have to log on to
the server and delete it....

If the ldb cannot be deleted, that usually means something is using the
database (do you use Terminal Services, for example?)

If the server is Windows 2003, openfiles.exe will tell you who has it (the
mdb) opened.

If server is not windows 2003, look at a utility called: who lock me?
