ldb

if i know for sure computer listed in ldb file is disconnected from the
database, can i delete its name from the ldb file?. computer listed in the
ldb file is off but still listed. What is best to do to release the ldb?.

The best way is to have everyone quit the app, after which the .ldb
file will be deleted automatically. If not automatically, you have my
blessing to delete it manually.
But please don't delete records in the .ldb file; Access was not
designed to expect that.
