Amazon has loads of said books with readers reviews. You could also
check with your local teriary institution. www.mvps.org/word has links
all over the shop to pages with more links that recommend books 24/7
Once you get started down that track, my Word VBA Beginner's Spellbook
is available to assist the process. It doesn't teach you VBA, it
teaches you better ways of using your logic and structures inside the
Word environment - a percentage is valid across numerous environments
though.
