Leave mails at server

Hi,

I would like for Outlook to leave a copy on the server from which i retrieve
my e-mail. I found were to check this off in Outlook under advanced settings
for the account. Unfortunately this did not solve my problem. I need my mails
to stay on the server because I need to retrieve them by PDA/mobile phone as
well.

Can anyone help me solve this mysterie?

Have you logged into web access for your ISP to see if the mail is there?

Might this be a GMail account?

It's an ordinary POP3/SMTP (ASMTP) from an internet provider. I could do it
in Outlook 2003 with the same accout.

If you have intergrated anti virus in outlook, try uninstalling the AV,
reboot, see if the problem is now corrected

That is strange Martin as checking to leave a copy of the email on the
server works for me. Have you gone back in and double checked to see
if the box is still checked to keep a copy on the server? Maybe it
got accidentally unchecked on the way out. That is really strange
that it doesn't work for you. Are the other two boxes under this
topic checked or unchecked?
