Left align last line in justified paragraph

sI cannot get the last line in a justified paragraph to align to the left. I
have seen a number of posts that say to use CNTRL + J to justify and CNTRL +
SHIFT + J to distribute, but that does NOT fix the problem. The former keeps
the last line justified (separated by words) and the latter does also (each
letter is separated). I just want the words in the last line to align to the
left.

Pushing ENTER on my numeric keypad does work, but there has got to be an
easier way to ensure I don't have to keep doing that.

It sounds like your paragraph is ended with a manual line break (Shift +
Enter). If you click on the Show/hide button, it will show what is at the
end of the line as a kind of arrow rather than a standard paragraph mark (or
hard carriage return). If you have a document full of these, you can
Find/replace (What what: ^l, Replace with ^p).

Interesting, I didn't understand that once I hit enter it would fix it going
forward. I was in my first paragraph at the time I was typing. It seems
like an unnecessary glich and should be talked about in the Help files.
Thanks for your help!

The likelihood is that this text was pasted from the Web, which uses only
line breaks. This is not something you would be likely to see in a document
created in Word.
