Left Right Scroll on Visio 2003

Jonathan

I recently reinstalled Visio 2003 on a new hard drive.

Horizontal scroll does not work with the mouse center wheel. Horizontal
scroll worked fine in my other installation.

"Zoom on Roll with Intellimouse" is not checked in the General tab of Tools
Options.

This scrolling works in all other installed Office 2003 programs.

What setting is incorrect or is there a fix for this problem?

Thank you,

Is this the scroll with shift pressed?
Do vertical and zoom scroll both work.

Hi Paul,

Vertical Scroll, Shift Scroll and Ctl Scroll, (zoom) work. Horizontal
scroll with the wheel works in all programs that support it except VISIO
2003. Before the reinstall and update, it worked in VISIO 2003.

Is this a setting problem or update problem? I have Office SP3.

Thanks for your interest and support.

There's no setting that I know of, all the wheel scrolls work fine on
my Visio 2003.

I hadn't given horizontal scrolling a thought. But, it is there, to my
surprise! Hold the control and shift keys down seems to do the trick.

Is it a logitech mouse? If so there was a problem in the later
versions (4.7) where horizontal scroll no longer works in Visio.
Logitech support know about the problem and I was givien an earlier
version (4.6) which still functions with Visio.
