I'm creating a form in Word 2007 that includes legacy check boxes and plain
text boxes. The form is saved in protected mode (form input only). I have
two problems:
1) The check boxes are not included in the tab order so users have to mouse
click on them to fill in with an "X". Would like to include them in the form
tab order.
2) If this is done, then mouse is used to select the next user input
location, which is a plain text box, nothing can be entered. The form
ignores any keystrokes in the selected box until tab is hit.
If tab is used to move around everything works ok (accept that check boxes
are skipped in the tab order). But if a plain text box is mouse selected,
and only after a check box has been selected, user input is broken.
Appreciate any help on this if anyone's run into these issues and found a
work around.
