In using Word 2002 we are having a problem when using the
Legal Blackline or Compare and Merge Documents feature.
When a paragraph has been deleted in a document which then
subsequently changes the paragraph numbering of the
following paragraphs and then a comparison is done against
the original document, the deleted paragraph shows
correctly as a deleted paragraph in the redlined document
but each additional paragraph appears as being deleted
also instead of just the change in the paragraph number
itself. Sometimes the paragraphs reappear as insertions
further down in the redlined document. Do you know of any
tips to solve this problem. It is very confusing to
clients when viewing changes made to their documents.
