Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I have installed Office 2008 using all three product keys. Two were used on my Mac and one on my wife's. I want to stop using the program altogether, remove it from our computers, sell it, and make sure that the buyer can install his three copies.

Can I legally sell it?

What is the procedure to ensure that, as far as Microsoft is concerned, the new owner owns it and I don't?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes, you are allowed to sell it as long as it is a copy you actually
purchased (or was purchased for you as a gift) from a legitimate retail
source... If some sort of promotional copy, institutional license, etc. it
isn't yours to sell.

All you need to do is run the Remove Office utility included on the DVD to
remove all copies from any systems & be sure to provide the buyer with the 3
keys which should still be on the DVD sleeve. Technically, any backups or
duplicates (such as a .dmg) of Office 2008 should also be destroyed or
tendered to the buyer as well.

If you want it straight from the horse's mouth you can start here to review
the content of the EULA for your Version/Edition:
