legend not appearing

The legend is not appearing on the screen or in printouts of the project,
although I have it set to show on every page. This is happening on some
projects and not others, and I believe I have made all the settings (margins,
etc.) the same. Any ideas on what might cause the legend not to appear? The
footer is printing.

Does it display in print preview? If yes, then it's probably a printer
driver issue. Try another printer, e.g. print to PDF, then print PDF to
that printer that acts up.

Sorry ... this sort of intermittent problem is not something I've ever
seen. You have a fully patched (SP2) version of project 2007?

No, still working in Project 2003. Supposed to have 2007 coming later this
year. I have no idea why I've got it working fine on some projects and it's
gone on others. I appreciate your help anyway

Before going further ... you have latest service packs for 2003. My
recollection they go to SP-3. Certainly SP-2.
