Legitimate Eval Copy upgrade needed - Please READ

NH Kate

I went to the Office 2003 Product Launch in Nashua, NH in October and got my legitimate eval. copy. I filled out the Launch Evaluation Survery & was mailed the legitimate codes to unlock the eval copies. Unfortunately there was no mention at the Product Launch that the unlock codes themselves had an expiration date & I did not get to the unlock web site provided before expiration. The site is now defunct. Now my eval. copy will expire in June but I SHOULD have a fully functioning product. I have tried calling Microsoft & the 3rd party people who handle eval. copy codes. Neither provides access to a human being capabable of logical thought so I am stuck.

In a company like Microsoft, which is no less than expert at Marketing, there must be a record of my attendance at the legitimate Product Launch event and someone who can send me new unlock codes so I can get what is rightfully due me. Having been downsized from my job, and in an effort to sharpen my skills, I have already incurred almost $2K debt on my credit card to learn the Office 2003 suite at a local Computer Learning Center. I have neither have the money to pay full price nor do I think I should have to when this was promised at the Product Launch.

Any help is MUCH appreciated. -Kate

Easy to see why you got down sized.
Do you honestly really believe MS care about you (therapist needed here)
Do you honestly believe MS would keep records of things attendees to hand
hold and butt wipe them.
Any fool would realise that evaluation lock codes would have expiry dates.
You are hosed

Hi Kate - ignore the previous response from the OP.

You can contact your local Microsoft Subsidiary for assistance with this
issue. Attendees were supposed to get full copies, not evaluations. Try
this site for assistance with your issue:

http://msevents.microsoft.com/cui/default.aspx?culture=en-us&SD=GN&LN=EN-US&gssnb=1

Enter your event and then see if there is a telephone number for you to
contact Microsoft about this issue.
