let colleagues know an email been actioned

When our company receives an email message such as a client who wants to
update their email address, I would like to know that the email has been
actioned by my colleague without my colleague having to send me a message and
telling me that they have actioned it.

Is there a shortcut button to click to let other colleagues know that an
incoming email message has already been actioned?

Use flags and set it marked as complete when actioned?

Thanks Roady but that would only be seen on my colleagues computer (the one
who marked as completed with flags. The rest of us would not know that it
had been actioned.

Not easy eh?

You might want to specify your mail configuration then.
