In Word X, I used Letter Gothic because I needed a fixed width font to show
sample report output. The columns lined up neatly, and the text fit in the
text boxes I chose to use.
Now in Word 2004, the same exact document with the same fonts and the same
styles shows Letter Gothic with slightly wider spacing for each of the
characters‹enough so that the lines now wrap in the text box! How is this
possible? The printer / page settings are the same. I¹ve checked
Compatibility, and it¹s set to ³Word X to 2004².
What am I missing? It¹s clearly wider. I opened a copy of the document in
Word X, and in Word 2004, and side by side you can even see that the
paragraph marks and the spaces look a little wider! Help!
Thanks,
Rick
