Letter size documents irritation.

hi there is there any way of forcing all office apps to use A4 page size as
defualt. and/or is there a way to automatically convert all docuemtns in
letter to A4. the problem is our office printer has an A3 tray, letter
paper is slightly bigger than A4 so it always prints letter docs in A3, very
annoying!

Tools -> Options -> Printer, then select Allow A4/Letter page resizing.
