letterhead with column instead of header

I would like to create letterhead that has the address and information
in a column to the left instead of in headers or footers. Can someone
please tell me how to do this?

I know how to design things in Quark or InDesign, but this project is
pro bono work for a non--profit company that uses PCs. Aside from
fonts, are there any issues I should be aware of when creating a
template on a Mac that will be used on a PC?

Thanks.

Create the letterhead as an eps or tiff, and stick it in the header as
usual. Fiddle with the picture placement options to make it go behind
the text (I think). Then you should be OK. The picture does not have
stay inside the dotted line.

(Sorry its vague. I've done this sometime in the past and forgotten the
details. Ask again if it does not work, and I'll see if I can resurrect
it)

I find that vanilla Macintosh templates work OK on PCs. Keep out of
scary stuff, and take time to define styles elegantly, and with names
that don't fight the built-in ones, and deliver them with instructions
for use.
