leveling actuals

Help!

We have created .mpp files in a conversion project. When opening the
projects in the 2003 prof client it starts leveling automatically. The only
problem is that the files also contain 3 months of actuals which also get
levelled.

In my opionium project is allowed to level a lot, but not the actuals!! How
can we resolve this?
undo leveling is not possible as we didn't order it to level and it starts
automatically on opening the file.

Any help is appreciated (we have converted 600 projects)

To stop the automatic leveling, got to : Tools / Level Resources.... / Level
Calculations : Manual

Converted projects : what do you mean by "Converted" ?

I know it should be, but they are changed. We tracked hours in a legacy
system (in which only integer values were possible) and did a conversion in
which we created .mpp files including the actuals. After opening it (from
projectserver) it does start leveling (al lot of actuals like 12.38h and so
on).

Turning on/off manual leveling does not stop ms project from leveling the
project when it opens one, strangely enough.

Perhaps it has something to do with the constraints on enterprise resources.

This makes me absolutely certain it's not "leveling", it's the nonworking
days in the calendar.
People always blame leveling for calculations it never does...
