I am not sure I fully understand your question. But one
thing I do is increase a resource pool's unit capacity.
So for example, if I have 5 extra people and I want to see
if they they finish a job on time. I make that pool
(which is a resource) at 500% capacity. This will show me
when a project can complete without assigning the 5
different resources to specific task items. This a a good
way to determine how many temps you need to hire to finish
on time. This is only for estimating becasue this assumes
all resources can work on the task at the same time.
I will need to bring in temporary employees to complete
the work on time. Auto Leveling moves tasks to level the
resources...is there a way to do this by adding more
people to the labor pool?
