Leveling Question

I am using a 2007 MSP workbook that is about 34MB. It is taking about 10 to
15 minutes to level the entire workbook. The workbook has an idividual
resource pool with about 800 resources, many of which are material not work.
I am wondering if this is normal?

It can take minutes to level complex plans. You might want to break the
task up into subtasks so that you only level for a given period in the
first instance. Having done that, fix those tasks by setting their
priority to 1000 and then level for the next period.
