Lexicon 409

When I try to open Excel I receive a message, "Lexicon 409 is either missing
or damaged." How can I fix this. I got Office preinstalled on my G4 OS 9.

Hi Carol Ann,

I know 3 Carol Anns, so now I know 4 of you!

First thing to do is to head to this URL and get the combined updater:
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx#Office2001

Install the update then raise the RAM allocation for the office applications
in Finder. Rebuild the desktop file and you should be all set.
