I am also interested in this response. I, too, have two
computers that I use. I was told by the store I purchased
my new computer at that I couldn't use the same software
and would need to uninstall on the other computer and buy
another software. Is this true? Or, because I am the
owner of the two I could download to both computers?

For OEM (preinstalled) copies, you don't have the right to use it on other
computer than it was purchased with. For retail ones, you can install it on
a primary desktop and a laptop used exclusively by you. Note that this is
not the case for two desktops.
