Hi,

I am getting the following Message when trying to create the "Common Dialog
Control". I am working on Article ID : 181076 in Help and support . Topic:
"How to Relink Back-End Tables with Common Dialog Control"
"You dont have the license required to use this activeX control" in Access

From the article you referenced:

"The Common Dialog control is available with Microsoft Office 2000
Developer Edition Tools."

It seems the Common Dialog control is only available if you have the
Developer Edition of Office. Do you have the Developer Edition or one
of the standard/professional versions?

Rather than using the control, just call the API function directly.

http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0001.htm at "The Access Web" has a
complete sample. While the code may look intimidating, all you have to do is
copy and paste it into a new module. In the long run, it's better than using
the control, which happens to be very prone to versioning problems.

You might also want to look at http://www.mvps.org/access/tables/tbl0009.htm
while you're there (if you are, in fact, trying to relink tables)
