License and authorized use

How can I tell if there is an available license on my Office Professional
2007 package? My mom sent it to me at school, but I think she used it on her
laptop, the computer in the den and my dad's laptop.

If it's on that many systems, it's already violating the license. Retail
versions allow for 1 desktop and one laptop used by the same person and not
at the same time.

You would have to ask the relevent parties,
Generally unless you are using Volume Licensing a retail version of Office
can only be installed on 2 PC's for the same user.
Office H&S can be installed on 3 PC's for any family user
